- After months of waffling lawsuits in the near miss of a full blown trial，Elon Musk now owns Twitter. The closing of the $44 billion deal on Thursday night which came after drama and legal challenges as Mr. Musk changed his mind about buying the social media service, set Twitter on an uncertain course.
